Obituary from the Warren Co, Illinois Genealogical Society, no newspaper notation, except printed Sept. 27, 1977: Earl H. Kirkpatrick, 86, of Roseville, died at 6;30 p.m. Monday at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Corman Memorial Home, Roseville, in charge of the Rev. Landers Gutel. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Corman Memorial Home. A memorial has been established for the Warren County Cancer society. Born June 16, 1891, he was the son of Henry and Mary Ann (Taylor) Kirkpatrick. He was first married to Lola Huston Oct. 3, 1917, and she died Jan. 10, 1955. He was again married to Marie Pommern June 29, 1955 and she died Sept. 21. Surviving are four sons, Raymond of Ottawa, Charles of Roseville, Robert of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and James of Chicago...; three daughters, Ms. Lester (Mary Jane) Primm of Bering, Mo., Mrs. Harold (Martha) Case of Glendora, Calif., and Mrs. Paul (Marjorie) Laster of New Jersey; one sister, Mrs. Homer (Floy) Detterding of Roseville; 31 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. He spent his life in the Roseville community, was a retired farmer and taught GI ag classes after World War II. He was president of the Warren County Farm Bureau of six years, served for years as a supervisor from Swan Township, and was a member of the Roseville Baptist church.

Pallbearers were Bill Hamilton, Kenny and John Huston, Larry Stoneburner, Carroll Henderson and Donald Kirkpatrick.
