Raymond Earl Kirkpatrick was born 16 August 1918. On 13 March 1937 he married Mary Enid Horrell who was born 29 July 1919.
There were two (2) children born of the marriage.
Roseville Independent, Roseville, Illinois September 25, 2003: Raymond Kirkpatrick, 85, Ottawa, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Ottawa Pavilion. He was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Roseville, the son of Earl H. and Lois D. (Huston) Kirkpatrick. He married Mary "Enid" Horrell Nov. 13, 1936, in Monmouth. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Sharon (Dennis) Jereb, Lafayette, Ind.; one son, Gary (Carol) Kirkpatrick, Ottawa; three grandchildren, Mike Kirkpatrick, Ottawa, Debbie Guerrero in Arizona, and Rick Jereb in North Carolina; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jane Primm in Missouri, Martha (Arnold) Case in California, and Marjorie (Paul) Loster in Florida; three brothers, Charles (Norma) Kirkpatrick, Roseville, Dr. Robert (Frances) Kirkpatrick in Michigan, and Dr. James Kirkpatrick in California. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Jill Harshman. He retired from the Ottawa National Bank in 1979. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Farm Bureau, Kiwanis Golden K, Chamber of Commerce, Ottawa Elks Club and the Ottawa Boat Club. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. John Meyers officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Memorial Park. Elks services were held at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in his name for a park bench.
