Mollie died from cercinoma, cancer of the spine. City records indicate Mary's middle name was Elizabeth. Both Parents obits list her middle name as Isabelle.

March 21---Mrs. Mollie Stuber, 48, died Saturday at the home of her father, John Kirkpatrick, five miles south of Eureka. Funeral arrangements will not be completed until it is learned when relatives in California can reach here. Mrs. Stuber is survived by three children, Lawrence, Ivan, and Hilda Belle, and her father , John Kirkpatrick; three brothers, Bernie Kirkpatrick of California, George Kirkpatrick of Utopia, and Ray Kirkpatrick of Eureka, and a sister, Mrs. Cliff Bruner, of Eureka. Her husband, Louis Stuber was killed in an automobile accident 18 months ago. Mrs. Stuber was a teacher in Greenwood County schools for many years before her marriage. Mrs. Stuber ran second among four Republican candidates for county clerk in the 1932 primary.
