Seattle Daily Times, Seattle, Washington, Wednesday, May 18, 1955, Page 54: Raymond Fry, Traffic-Bureau Aide, Succumbs. Raymond Fry, 64, assistant director of the city's Traffic Violations Bureau, suffered a fatal stroke in his sleep last night. He was dead on arrival at a hospital at 7:40 o'clock this morning. Mr. Fry was born in Seattle and lived here all his life. He lived at 2913 Tenth Av. W. He had been with the Traffic Violations Bureau since 1941. He was acting director in 1943 and 1944 and had been assistant director since that time. Mr. Fry was a member of the University Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Martha, Seattle and a daughter, Virginia Fry, Seattle, and Lawrence Fry of Port Madison, Brainbridge Island; a brother, Earl Fry, Seattle, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be arranged by Bonney-Watson.
