Berkeley Daily Gazette, Berkeley, California, Thursday, October 1, 1936, Page 2, Col. 6: Mrs. Albert E.* King Is Called by Death. Stricken suddenly ill last evening, Mrs. Margaret N. Watt King, wife of Albert E. King, passed away a few hours later at the family home, 1529 Oxford Street. Mrs. King was born in Illinois and lived for many years in Hutchinson, Kansas, before coming to Berkeley 15 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Albert E. King, and by two daughters and two sons. They are Kathryn DeVore, Margaret Virginia King and Albert E. King Jr., of Berkeley, and Robert W. King of Tacoma, Wash. She was the mother of the late Allen N. King. Mrs. King leaves one sister, Mrs. Lucy Watt Conley of San Francisco, and one granddaughter, Allene Jane King of Berkeley. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the chapel of Edward E. Niehaus Company, 2640 Grove Street.
