Our beloved Kalah went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2013. Kalah was born on Dec. 20, 1939, to the late Orban and Arlie (Moore) Aycock in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School. She attended Lubbock Christian College and Draughon's Business College. She married Bobby Beale on May 28, 1960, in Lubbock. Kalah was a member of South Plains Church of Christ and the Silvertones. Kalah's life centered on her family and they enjoyed many special times in the mountains. She loved to sing and, like most women, she loved to shop. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bobby; three children, Saundra Wimberley and husband Eddie of Wolfforth, Ronnie Beale and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, and April West and husband Eric of Midland; five grandchildren, Mason Beale, Samuel Wimberley, Carter West, Andrew West, and Mallory West; a sister, Kenda Collins Moore and husband J.C.; a brother, David Aycock; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Aycock. Memorials are suggested to Lubbock Christian University or the Children's Home of Lubbock.
