Colvin of Ursa, widow of Davis Colvin, died Friday evening at 7 o'clock in Blessing hospital from complications of old age, having been in the hospital for over four months. She was born in Kentucky 85 years ago and the family came to Adams county when she was 2 years old. Her husband died over 20 years ago. She attended the Christian church at Ursa and had a large circle of friends. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Allison of Ellington township and Mrs. Amy McElroy of Hutchinson, Kan., and one brother, Thaddeus Hedges, of Knox City, Mo. The remains will be taken to Ursa and funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon in the Christian church at 2:30, with burial at New Providence cemetery.
