Logansport Pharos Tribune & Press, Logansport, Indiana, Sunday, June 11, 1972: Pioneer Resident Dies At 90. Mrs. Lina (McKee) Kirkpatrick, 90, pioneer resident, died at 10:55 a.m. Friday at Chase-Manor Nursing Home. A former resident of 728 North St., she was the oldest living member of the First United Methodist Church. Her father, George P. McKee, was mayor of the city for 16 years. She was born in this city on March 19, 1882. Her marriage was to John C. Kirkpatrick, who died in 1961. Survivors are a son, McKee Kirkpatrick of Phoenix, Ariz.; one grandson, G. McKee Kirkpatrick, Evanston, Ill.; one granddaughter, Josephine Kirkpatrick, Sherman Oaks, Cal.; two great-grandchildren. One son, John Kirkpatrick, Jr.; preceded her in death. Friends may call at Kroeger Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Monday. Services at the funeral home will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Melvin R. Seeger and Father Wright Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
