McKinney Weekly Democrat Gazette, McKinney, Texas, Thursday, July 24, 1913, Page 6 Col. 5: Mrs. Aycock Dies At Greenville. Mrs. A. J. Aycock, died at Greenville Monday a.m. at 3 o'clock after a lingering illness of several weeks. She was taken to Greenville one day last week, where she submitted to an operation, and for a few days after undergoing the operation was thought to be doing nicely. However, she became worse, and she expired as above stated. Deceased was formerly a Miss Grisham and was reared near Farmersville. She had been residing at Princeton for the past ten or twelve years. She is survived by her husband and six children. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church and was well liked by all who knew her. The remains were shipped to Farmersville Monday morning where the interment was made at 6 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. B. Fladger. The interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at that place. Mrs. Aycock is survived by her mother, Mrs. M. R. Grisham of Verona, and three sister and one brother, as follows: Mesdames W. T. Turner of Fort Worth; W. H. Strong of Farmersville; C. W. Russell of Verona; and J. T. Grisham of Verona.
