Emma Wayland was born 11 September 1869 in San Saba County, Texas and died 21 November 1952 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She married on 14 March 1892 in Tularosa, Dona Ana County, New Mexico to Thomas Allen Frasier, the son of Richmond and Susanna (Dodson) Frasier. Thomas was born 18 February 1860 in Montague County, Texas, and died 15 October 1948 in Alamogordo, Otero Co., New Mexico. He was a rancher in southern New Mexico. They were members of the Baptist Church.
There were three (3) children born of the marriage.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, November 24, at 2:30 o'clock in Mullins O'Dell Chapel for Mrs. Emma Frasier, 83, who died at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital on Friday following a lengthy illness. The Reverence R. L. Swanner, pastor of the First Baptist Church, of which Mr. Frasier was a charter member, was in charge of the service.
Mrs. Frasier was born Emma Wayland, September 11, 1869 in San Saba county, Texas, and came to Tularosa with her parents in the year 1884 at the age of 15 years. She was married to the late Thomas Allen Frasier at Tularosa in 1898 [1892]. She and her husband purchased the first lot sold in Alamogordo and erected the city's first business building. They were numbered among the first settlers here. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. E. F. Harrington, 1501 Indiana Avenue, Alamogordo; Edwin Frasier of Homestead, Florida and Oren Frasier of Phoenix, Arizona. Three grandchildren: Mrs. Bob Tally, Phoenix, Arizona; Tommy Frasier, Homestead, Florida, and Second Lieutenant F. A. Harrington of Scott Field, Illinois. One great grandchild, Karen Tally of Phoenix. Pall bearers were: Edward O. Harrington, Charles Harrington, Oliver Jordan, B. E. Rutz, Charles Dean and Ralph Armstrong. Honorary bearers were: R. E. Walton, Carroll Woods, Charles E. Thomas, Dr. S. F. Cooper, Hick Haynes, Lon Hunter, Ab Hunter, and Oliver Lee. Don Clark and Alton Wilson sang: "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages." Accompanist was Mrs. Alf Gillis. Mullin O'Dell was in charge of arrangements.
