Engle were held in the Baptist church, Monday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. L. J. May officiated, reading verses from Revelations and using the words "No More" for the theme of his remarks. Mrs. L. J. May and Mrs. Harry Gallup sang "The Old Rugged Cross," and "Asleep in Jesus," accompanied by Mrs. J. E. Shedd. Many relatives and friends attended the served [service] and there was a profusion of flowers. Casketbearers were O. J. Fish, Elmer Abel, Richard Lawton, Ned Shumway, Donald Johnson, Leslie Whitney. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
