Posted at findagrave.com: Harold Hake was the son of Lewis Hake and Tillie Miller. His paternal grandparents were Israel Frederick Hake and Maryetta Frary. Harold R. Hake, 91, Jefferson, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at home. He was born on August 22, 1918 in the Town of Oakland, the son of the late Lewis and Tillie (Miller) Hake. Harold married Wilma Neuman of Oelwein Iowa on May 6, 1941 in Dubuque Iowa. They had been Lake Mills residents for 50 years prior to moving to Jefferson in 1991. Harold owned and operated Hake's Trucking until his retirement. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma; one daughter, Sally Zitelman of Lake Mills; one grandson, Michael (Nancy) Zitelman of Watertown; one great-grandson, Mikenze Booth; two step-great granddaughters, Ashley and Lindsay Zechzer; one sister, Helen Gomoll of Watertown; other relatives and friends. Also preceding in death was a brother, Richard; a son-in-law, Charles Zitelman, and a brother-in-law, John Gomoll.
