Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Henderson will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in Kinder First Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Paxton officiating. Interment will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Kinder. Mrs. Henderson, 94, of Kinder entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in the Allen Parish Hospital. Mary Lou was a faithful member of the Kinder First Baptist Church, where she was involved in many activities and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Gilbert Henderson. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons, William Henderson and his wife, Corena of Spring, Texas, James "Buzzy" Henderson of Kinder and Dick Henderson and his wife, Candy of Cuero, Texas; one daughter, Kathryn Lou Henderson of New Orleans; one sister, Ruth Richardson of Kinder; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Reynolds of Kinder and Kay Reynolds of Sulphur; four grandchildren, Debbie Renee' Menchaca, Denisa Paulette Loveday, Aaron Christopher Hill and Alex Rogers; four great grandchildren, Matthew Joseph Menchaca, Sarah Elizabeth Menchaca, William Charles Loveday and Natalie Taylor Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kinder First Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of her services at 10:00 a.m.
