Kenneth Clark Wilkinson was born 15 January 1906, Jennings, Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. He married Emarite "Pete" Richard on 15 September 1942. She was born 5 December 1905 at Jennings, Louisiana.
Kenneth Wilkinson retired from the Cities Service Company about 1971. He has a farm but rents it out. He raises prize camillias. His wife took a masters degree at Columbia University. She headed the Home Economics Department at McNeese State University, Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, until her retirement. Both she and her husband are square dance enthusiasts. They were living in 1985 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
There were two (2) children born of the marriage.

He was retired from Cities Service and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Camelia Society and Swinging Rebels Square Dance Club. He served in the Air Corps and was an avid woodworker and rock collector. Survivors include his wife, Gervaise Smelser Wilkinson of Lake Charles; one step-daughter, Gervaise Chin - Lee of Spain; two daughters, Mary Ellen Hawkins of Moss Bluff and Rita Tassin of Madison, Wis.; five grandchildren, Kenneth Hawkins of Moss Bluff, Andrew Hawkins of Fremont, Calif., Lynn D ' Amico of Kenner, Rob Benada of Wisconsin and Jen Tassin of Colorado; and seven great-grandchildren. His funeral will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. John White will officiate. Visitation is from 9 a. m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
