Ranck, 85, West Point, Ia., died Thursday at 8 p.m. in Sacred Heart Hospital. She had been ill five weeks. She was born Jan. 4, 1860 in Baltimore township, near Lowell in Henry county and had been a lifelong resident of the West Point vicinity. She was married Jan. 4, 1883, to Robert Ranck. He died in 1930. Survivors include a son, Walter Ranck, West Point, three grandsons and three great-grandsons. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the West Presbyterian church with the Rev. C. F. McMican officiating. Burial was in Bethany cemetery.
