Sophia Eugenia Aycock

St. Joseph News-Press, St. Joseph, Missouri, June 6, 1939, Page 2, Col. 3: Minister's Widow Dies. Mrs. Eugene [sic] Packard Was Seventy-Nine Years Old. Mrs. Eugenia Packard, seventy-nine years old died late yesterday at her home, 1401 Felix street. She was the widow of the late Rev. W. F. Packard, who was pastor of the Francis Street Methodist Church from 1897 to 1901. The church was then located at Seventh and Francis streets. The Rev. Mr. Packard died in 1917. Mrs. Packard is survived by a son, J. E. Packard, Chicago, a daughter, Mrs. Lee I. McDonald, St. Joseph, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body is at Meierhoffer's mortuary where services will be held tomorrow afternoon with Dr. Frank Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Mount Mora Cemetery.
