Italy, Ellis Co., Texas, Oct. 12---Robert Aycock, 88, founder of the town of Italy, where he established the post office in 1880 and served as postmaster for seventeen years, official in the Presbyterian Church for half a century, member of the County Democratic Executive committee for years, was found dead on the front porch at his home Wednesday. He had been downtown and from all appearances was in the best of health. He returned to his home about 10:30 a.m. and was found dead an hour later.
Up to a year ago Aycock had been active in business in the town which he established in 1878. Since the death of his wife more than a year ago, he has divided his time between his home here and with a daughter, Mrs. J. M. William in Waxahachie and a daughter, Mrs. Lee Armstrong of Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian Church here Thursday afternoon.
