Burlington Hawk Eye, Burlington, Iowa, Tuesday, January 26, 1926, Page 3, Col. 2: William Paxson Dies At Home Near Fairfield. Fairfield, Ia., Jan. 25---William Paxson died at his home 10 miles northwest of Fairfield Sunday evening after and illness of three weeks. Mr. Paxson was born December 12, 1854, in this county and has resided here ever since, engaging in farming. He is survived by two sons, Leonard of Pacific Junction, Iowa, and Fred with whom the father made his home, and Mrs. Sadie Gardner of Packwood, Mrs. Effie Campbell of Richland and Mrs. Emma Sasseen of Batavia. Funeral services will take place at the Friends church two miles south of Richland at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning and Rev. J. H. Hadley will be in charge. Interment will be made at the Friends cemetery.
