Mr. Kirkpatrick was in his 75th year and had been a merchant of Louisville for a number of years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a Mason and was a substantial citizen of many worthy qualities in whom all his acquaintances had confidence. He leaves a wife a number of devoted children and grandchildren. His remains were laid to rest in the Masonic Cemetery.
