Samuel Lee Seley

Daily Nonpareil, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Thursday, December 31, 1936, Page 5, Col. 2: Samuel L. Seley, 65, 303 Ninth avenue, died Wednesday at a local hospital from an intestinal obstruction. Mr. Seley resided at Prescott before coming to Council Bluffs twelve years ago. He was a member of Trinity Methodist church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Clara Seley, and one son, Glenn L. Seley, both of Council Bluffs; three brothers, G. W. Seley of Fontanelle, Joseph Seley of Greenfield, and E. T. Seley of McCone, Mont.; and five sisters, Mrs. H. T. Mayne of Greenfield, Mrs. F. W. Carns of Prescott, Mrs. E. E. Johnson of Orient, Mrs. Walter McKinley of Omaha and Mrs. Joe Fisher of Royalton, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the residence and 2 p.m. at the Prescott Methodist church with Rev. R. M. Peters officiating. Burial will be near Prescott. Woodring's mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
