Posted at findagrave.com: Jack Eldon Wynn, 88, of rural West Burlington died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015, at his daughter's home in Wayland. Born October 2, 1927 in Prescott, Iowa, he was the son of Sam and Margaret "Peggy" (Penn) Wynn. On September 4, 1949 he married Carol Mae Kirkpatrick in Creston. She preceded him in death on August 18, 1998. Mr. Wynn was a Navy veteran serving six years during the Korean War. He was a union electrician working at I.A.A.P, a realtor, and also worked at Farm King. Mr. Wynn was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and loved serving the Lord and his church. He also served as church treasurer and a Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed raising dogs, quail, chickens, mink, and fox. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and prayed for them daily. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carol, brother Dale, sister Delores, and son-in-law Frank Douglas.
