Chester Campbell Kirkpatrick

Dover Daily Reporter, Dover, Ohio, Monday, February 1, 1960, Page 2, Col. 6: Chester C. Kirkpatrick, 70, former resident of New Philadelphia, died Saturday in the home of a son, Roy, of Chatsworth, Calif., following a cerebral hemorrhage. A native of Holloway, Belmont County, he moved from New Philadelphia to Canton in 1927 and had resided with his son since his retirement in 1957 from Republic Steel Corp. in Canton. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a member of the Canton First Reformed Church. His wife, Sarah Rice Kirkpatrick, died in 1932. Surviving in addition to his son are a half-sister, Mrs. Edward F. Offenburger, and a half-brother, A. C. Blackburn, both of Canton. The Reed Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of arrangements.
