The Canton Repository, Canton, Ohio, March 5, 1948, Page 38: Mrs. Anthony Blackburn. Mrs. Anna Blackburn widow of Anthony Blackburn died Thursday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. Oscar Baker of 1507 34th St NW. She was 82. Her death followed a long illness. Since she came to Canton 23 years ago from Belmont County, she was a member of First Reformed Church and the Goodwill Bible Class. In addition to Mrs. Baker, she leaves three sons, Jesse Kirkpatrick in West Virginia, and Chester Kirkpatrick and A. C. Blackburn of Canton; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Sears of Freeport; a brother, Rev. O. W. Dunn, of Alliance; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted in the Schneeberger funeral home by Rev. Karl Koepke Monday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 1 to 4 and 9 to 9 p.m.
