Neuman, both of Traer, at a ceremony which was performed at the Congregational parsonage here Tuesday evening with the Rev. B. T. Schwab officiating. The bride is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pettit, Vinton, and has been making her home here with the William Pettit family. The groom is the son of Mrs. Ida Neuman, now of Waterloo, formerly of Jesup, and has been working on farms in the Traer community the past several months. They are making their home in Traer for the present, and Mr. Neuman plans to enter army service in the near future.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde of Vinton; three sons, Gary Neuman of Taylorsville, N. C., Dale Vinton of Cumberland, Ind., and John Vinton of Shellsburg; a daughter, April Johnson of Vinton; two brothers, Woodrow Pettit of Shellsburg and Andrew Pettit of Cedar Rapids; and seven grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Campbell-Russell's. Burial: Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of services Wednesday. A memorial fund has been established.
