Aberdeen Daily News, Aberdeen, South Dakota, Monday, February 1, 1971, Page 3, Col. 5: Mrs. Abner (Mollie) Hart, 82, long time resident of Forbes, N. D., died Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Ellendale, N. D., Nursing Center. Services are to be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen with the rev. D. Keith Irwin officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mollie Marie Haberman was born Sept. 16,1888 on a farm near Alpha, S. D. She took a dressmaking course at Leola after attending grade school at Alpha. She was married to Abner James Hart at LaMoure, N. D. on Aug. 9, 1905. They farmed in the Forbes area until 1967, when they moved to Forbes. Her husband died in 1967.
She was a member of the Forbes Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include seven sons, James, of St. Helen's, Ore., Joseph and Leslie, both of Lead, Harding and Neale, both of Forbes, Charles of Frederick and Everett E. Hart, Aberdeen; six daughters, Mrs. M. J. (Maude) Holsworth and Mrs. Arthur (Genevieve ) Moore, both of Forbes, Mrs. Lawrence (Florence) Austin, Billings, Mont., Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Rogers, Leola, and Mrs. Jessie Atkinson and Mrs. Edith Atkinson, both of Aberdeen; 64 grandchildren, 126 great- grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren. One sister, two brothers and two granddaughters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Huebl Funeral Chapel from Monday evening until Wednesday noon and at the church from 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Wednesday. Relatives are requested to meet in the Ladies parlor of the church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
