Daily Press, Victorville, California, Sunday, March 4, 2001: Lance C. Felly, 62, died March 4, 2001, in Vacaville of natural causes. Born in Madison, Wis., he lived in Hesperia for 24 of his 32 years in California. He was an auditor for six years at Mooseheart International in Mooseheart, Ill. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1958 to 1966, and a past member of American Legion. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl A. Felly. He is survived by his wife, Judie of Hesperia; daughters Barbara Self, and Laura and her husband Ralph Elderbaum, all of Hesperia; sons and daughters-in-law David and Kay Felly of Hesperia, and Damon and Michelle Felly of Victorville; brothers Robert Walker of Los Angeles, Jimmy Schumann of San Diego, Kirk Felly of Madison, Wis., and Donny Schumann of Canyon Country; sister Sue Ann LePage of Seattle, Wash.; and seven grandchildren. Visitation is from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Kern Hesperia Chapel. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the same location with Pastor Greg Bryant officiating. Burial will be private. Kern Hesperia Mortuary is handling arrangements.
