Harry Mills

Ogden Standard Examiner, Ogden, Utah, Friday, October 31, 1947, Page 26, Col. 4: Harry Mills, 64, of 159 Twenty-first, died Thursday at four-thirty p.m. of a heart attack at the family home. Mr. Mills was born Jan. 8, 1883, in Eddington, Me. He had been a resident of Ogden for the past 10 years and previously had resided elsewhere in Utah 20 years.

On July 19, 1927, he married Mrs. Phoebe Thompson at Nampa, Ida. His occupation was ruck driving and he handled a variety of other jobs. Surviving are his widow, Ogden, and the following stepsons and stepdaughters: J. C. Thompson, Tacoma, Wash., Wallace Thompson, Mrs. W. M. Wilson, Mrs. Ted Kruitmoes, Mrs. S. L. Johnson and Mrs. Wesley Worthey, Ogden and Mrs. J. T. Lyons, Idaho; Mrs, Louis Hoff, Wyoming; also about 21 step grandchildren.

The body is at the mortuary, 3408 Washington.

Ogden Standard Examiner, Ogden, Utah, Friday, October 31, 1947, Page 26, Col. 5: Mills---Funeral services for Harry Mills, husband of Phoebe Thompson Mills, of 159 Twenty-first street will be held Monday at one p.m. in the Lindquist and Sons Colonial funeral chapel with Thomas Checketts bishop of the Third ward, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Sunday from six until nine p.m. and Monday until hour of the service. Interment in the Washington Heights Memorial park, directed by Lindquist and Sons.
