Joplin Globe, Joplin, Missouri, Saturday, August 15, 1987, Page 19, Col. 4: Lockwood, Mo.---Michael Ray Arkebauer, 43, Lockwood, died at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday at Nevada City Hospital after an illness. Mr. Arkebauer was born Dec. 3, 1943, at St. Louis. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Arkebauer, Lockwood; and a brother, Jim Arkebauer, Denver, Colo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Darrel Hoerle, minister, will officiate. The body has been cremated under the direction of Lockwood Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arkebauer Memorial Trust for the Mentally Retarded.
