She was a daughter of the late James Thomas Parrott and Lucy Etta Woolum Parrott. Martha died Monday February 11, 2013 in the Baptist Health Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
She united in marriage to Basil Jackson who preceded her in death. Later she united in marriage to Russell Jones who also preceded her in death. A infant son, sisters, Lillian Parrott Carey, Thelma Parrott Larkins, Edith Parrott, Wilma Parrott; brothers, George C. Parrott and Kenneth Parrott all prececed her in death.
Martha is survived by her daughter; Bobbie Brutscher and husband, Paul of Louisville; a sister; Ruby Parrott Graybeal and husband, Willie of Gray; grandchildren; Russell Lee Craig, Frank E. Craig and David J. Craig and wife Lisa; and two great grandchildren; Travis and Lee Marie.
Funeral Services for Martha Eva Jackson Jones will be conducted Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Jessup officiating. Burial will follow in the Parrott Cemetery at Parrott Branch in Knox County, with grandsons and family members serving as pallbearers. Friends will be recieved at the Hopper Funeral Home Saturday after 12:30 pm until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
