Posted at findagrave.com: He was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma, to Claude Luther and Julia Luvena (Cowen*) Armstrong. He lived in Eufaula from 1940-1945. His family moved to Arvin, California in 1945 where Earl stayed until he graduated from Arvin High School in 1958. He then moved to San Diego, California in 1958. He lived there until 1995, when he moved back to Oklahoma and resided in Porum. Earl was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America and served as secretary/treasurer for over twenty years. He was the last survivor of ten children. He passed away at the age of 67 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clifford, Curtis, L.C., D. Glen, Willard and an infant brother, his sisters, Lois Freeman and Bonnie Norman, an infant sister and a granddaughter, Ashley Jennifer Janke.
