North West Arkansas Times, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Friday, November 9, 2007: Garland Eugene Ogilvie, 85, of Prairie Grove died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 16, 1922, in Harmony to Joseph Marvin and Sallie Mae Wilson Ogilvie. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by a son, Gordan Ogilvie.

Survivors include his wife, Kaye Ogilvie; a son, Larry Ogilvie of Fayetteville, N.C.; a daughter, Rebecca Andreen of Phoenix; two stepsons, Barry Ridings of Fayetteville and David Ridings of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Luginbuel Chapel of Prairie Grove with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with John King officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to any charity.
