Lexington Herald, Lexington, Kentucky, Monday, December 17, 1923, Page 6, Col. 2: Miss Laura Parrott, 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Parrott, of 721 West Pine street, died at the Good Samaritan hospital last night at 11 o'clock following an operation for appendicitis. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, Richard W. Parrott, of Camden, Ohio, and Charles Parrott, who is in the United States navy; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hubbard, of Pineville, Ky.; Mrs. Oscar Hadden and Mrs. Maude Smith, both of Graves Station, Ky. The body was removed to the John Milward Funeral Home on West second street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Parrott, who died at the Good Samaritan hospital Sunday night, will be held from the residence, 721 West Pine street, at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will follow in Lexington cemetery. Pallbearers will be Misses Margaret Crain, Dorothy Mattingly, Birdie Mae Sprouse, Willie Rector, Virginia Dodd and Lydia Aubrey. The Rev. T. H. Alderson will officiate.
