Va., residing in Akron over 50 years. He as Business Manager of 13 years with the Akron City Hospital, and a life member of the First United Methodist Church of Akron. He graduated from Ohio State University, and received his Masters degree in Business Administration from Western Reserve University. He was a member of MENSA International Society and was a trustee of the Multiple Sclerosis Society for 26 years. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Hildreth Tompkins; a son, Mark Eugene Tompkins, Columbia, S. C. Rev. John Knox Hess will conduct Services Saturday 1 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. (Adams, 535-9186).
