She was a native of Lexington, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Maude Risen King, member of the Macedonia Christian Church. Survived by one son, Vernon G. Pharis, Jr., North Plainfield, NJ.; one sister, Nancy K. Hisle, Lexington; five grandchildren; and one nephew. Services 10 a.m. Monday, Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, the Rev. Joe Hatchett. Burial, Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 1-5 p.m. today.
