Hardin---Stanley Clason, 53, former Billings resident, died in Palo Alto, Calif., Saturday of a lung and heart condition. He was returning to Montana after being treated in New Mexico for several years. Mr. Clason was born Sept. 12, 1910, in Custer, S.D., a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Clason. He grew up in Montana and was graduated from Chinook High School. He was a veteran of the Second World War. He was a member of the First Methodist Church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nettie Crawford of Basin, Wyo.; three sons, Dale of 8 Riley Drive, Billings, Donald of Basin and Louis Dean of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, and four sisters. Funeral services are tentatively set for 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Don Hamilton of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Custer Battlefield National Cemetery. Bullis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
