Missoulian, Missoula, Montana, Saturday, May 21, 2016: Polson---Jeanette Clason Lundeen, 95 years old, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Polson Health and Rehab Center in Polson. Jeanette was born Feb. 18, 1941 [1921], in Lewistown, to John H. Clason and Nettie (Westover) Clason. She was the fifth of seven children.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was sealed for all time and eternity to the love of her life, Marvin, in the Cardston Alberta Temple. Preceding her death are her husband, Marvin Lundeen, who died in 1979, and a short marriage to John Sanford. Her eldest son, Arnie, died in an auto accident at the age of 22.
Survivors are four children and two daughters-in-law, Virginia (Ginny) Lundeen Hawkaluk of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Roy Lundeen of Bremerton, Washington, and his wife Lynda (Franklin), Janice Lundeen of Helena and Lester Lundeen of Polson and his wife Becky (Arlint) Lundeen. Jeanette had 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, who all called her Grandma "Dean"!
Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service held on Tuesday, May 24, in Polson at 10 a.m. at the Lake Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 29, at 4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
