Cedar Falls---Isaac Dale Fairhurst, 77, 320 Clay street, died at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday at Sartori Memorial hosptial of a heart ailment from which he had suffered the last three years. He was owner and proprietor of the Holdfast Chain Co. of Cedar Falls. Decreased was born Oct. 22, 1868, at Vincennes, Ind., and married Florence Gifford in 1897 at Orlordville, Wis. They came to Cedar Falls from Manchester in 1930. Mr. Fairhurst was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving besides his widow are three sons, D. L., Ben G., and Earl, all of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Mershon, Cedar FAlls, and Mrs. Marian Biere, Sycamore, Ill.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildrfen. The body was taken to the Brown funeral home.
