Vernon, passed away April 25, 2013, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. Ron was born July 6, 1951, in Weatherford, Texas, the son of Martin L. and Madeline (Kirkpatrick) Buchholz. He was a graduate of Illinois State in Bloomington, where he earned a degree in accounting. Ron worked as a certified public accountant until failing health. He is survived by his brother, Allen Buchholz and special friend, Carolyn of Springfield; and two nieces, Vickie Cornish and Michelle and husband David Peruzzi. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private burial will be held at the Old Baptist Cemetery in rural Waltonville.
