Mary Lois Whitlock

Post Register, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Tuesday, March 16, 1993: Blackfoot---Mary Lois Rabuck, 56, of Blackfoot, died March 15, 1993, at her home of an apparent heart attack. She was born April 26, 1936, at Toledo, Ohio, to Roy Aaron and Una McDaniel Whitlock. She lived in Illinois until she was 15, when the family returned to Ohio. She attended schools in Port Clinton, Ohio, and graduated from high school in South Beloit, Ill.

On March 27, 1954, she married Elden Rabuck at South Beloit, Ill. They moved to Blackfoot in 1976. She was employed as a cook at the City Cafe in Blackfoot for 13 years. She enjoyed shopping and visiting with her friend, Vicki Jensen.

Survivors include her children, Steven Brian Rabuck of Beloit, Wis., Ronald Allen Rabuck of Blackfoot, Regina Sue Conan of Pocatello, Marlys Ann Wilson of Moreland, and Patricia Lynn Mettz of Fort Polk, La.; two brothers and three sisters, Roy Whitlock of Ohio, Ray Whitlock of Lakeside, Calif., Betty Halstead of Port Clinton, Ohio, Una Kay Pile of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Marsha Schuler of Beloit, Wis.; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hill-Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot with the Rev. Rich Carey officiating. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery.
