Thingvold, 42, 2019 Barnaby Drive, Loves Park, was pronouned dead at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 1987, in her home. Born Dec. 25, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wis., daughter of Cy and Lillian Jacob. Lived 35 years in Rockford area, coming from Milwaukee. Formerly married to Theodore C. Wallin, 1963-1977. Than married Raymond Thingvold in Rockford, March 18, 1978. Employed as medical transcriptionist at Saint Anthony Hospital five years. She was Technician and Medical Transcriptionist. Member Grace Lutheran Church and volunteer for American Red Cross. Currently enrolled in nursing program at Rock Valley College. Graduated from Harlem High School, class of 1962. Survivors include her husband, Raymond, Loves Park; a daughter, Carla Zopp, Fayetteville, N. C., two sons, David Wallin, Warwick, R.I., and Donald Wallin, at home; two stepdaughters, Ruth Parker, in California, and Judy McGee, Tucson, Ariz.; Five grandchildren; her parents, Cy and Lilllian Jacob, Rockford; two sisters, Judy Krestslinger and Nancy Lewis, both Loves Park; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter, Barbara. Services at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with the Rev. William Zopp officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
