Cleburne Times-Review, Cleburne, Texas, Sunday, December 19, 2010: Services for Patsy Jean "Nana" Briscoe, 73, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Covington Cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Freeman will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Rosser Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be John Applegate, Paul Marti Jr., David Marti, Wade Birdwell, Eddie Birdwell and Larry Musselman. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Vaughn, Harold Kyle, Carl Lawrence, Timmy Briscoe, Frank Briscoe and Jack Briscoe. Patsy passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, while surrounded by her loving family in Cleburne, Texas. She was born July 13, 1937, in Cleburne, Texas. Patsy retired as a quality control supervisor at Walls Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Briscoe, and two infant children, Phyllis and Stacy Briscoe. She is survived by her sons, Rick Briscoe and wife, Angie, Danny Briscoe and wife, Barbara, Jacky Briscoe and wife, Kim, all of Cleburne; daughter, Kelly Rose and husband, David, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Paige and Monica Briscoe, Marie Thompson and husband, Richie, Ben Briscoe, Kyle Briscoe and wife, Kimberly, Kali Jones and husband, Colt, Aimee Rose and Garrett Rose; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Moyle, Brianna Thompson and Wyatt Jones; sisters, Cynthia Marti and husband, Paul, of Grandview, Montez Upchurch and husband, Jerry, of Grinder Switch, Tenn.; lifelong best friend, Martha Martin of Keene; and sisters, Paula White, Nancy Bergman and Vicki Lambert. Our Nana loved her family, friends, traveling, dancing and listening to her boys play music. She will be greatly missed but she has been reunited with our Pappy.
