From South Carolina Magazine of Ancestral Research: Died in York District near Bullook's Creek, on the 18th Inst., Mrs. Cynthia Adeline, wife of Given Gallaher, and daughter of Arthur Kirkpatrick, in the 37th year of her age. She had been a member of the Presbyterian Church for 21 years, and was a much respected for her Christian disportment and uprightness of character. She leave a disconsolate husband with 7 children, mostly small... (May 29, 1856).
