Aberdeen Daily News, Wednesday, October 3, 1979, Page 7: Word has been received of the death of former Aberdonian, Mrs. May Williamson, 97, of Rochester, Minn. Services were held Monday, September 26 [should be Monday, Oct. 1], at St. John's Catholic Church in Rochester. May Madden was born May 2, 1882, in Eyota, Minn. She married Ray Williamson May 25, 1909. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Aberdeen where her husband was an attorney. She was active in the Catholic Daughters and Sacred Heart Altar Society. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Rochester where she had since resided.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth, of Manitowoc, Wis.; one daughter, Mrs. George (Marian) Wagner, of Oshkosh, Wis.; one brother, Walter Madden of Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Alicia Graham and Miss Grace Madden, both of Rochester; and a nephew, Alan Williamson of Aberdeen. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and two sisters.
