Humboldt Standard, Eureka, California, Friday, March 2, 1956, Page 16, Col. 1: Winfred Charles Williamson, age 78, of Alder Point died Thursday afternoon in Rohnerville following a short illness. He was born in Minnesota and came to Alder Point in 1934. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Alder Point Grange No. 516. Survivors include five sons, Chester Williamson of Hoopa; Leonard Williamson of Arcata, Winfred Williamson, Jr. of San Leandro; Maurice Williamson of San Jose; three daughters, Mrs. Valla Holsington of Alder Point; Mrs. Vida Madden of Roherville; Mrs. Clara Anderson of Rohnerville; one brother, Ray Williamson of Aberdeen, South Dakota; and one sister, Mrs. Daisy Richmond of Alder Point; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 5, at 1:30 p.m. at the Blocksburg Community Church. Interment will be in Blocksburg Cemetery. Hunter and Wise of Fortuna are in charge of arrangements.
