Lived 53 years in Rockford area, coming from Fennimore. Married Amelia Nibbio in Rockford, May 13, 1978. Employed as a truck driver at Over-Nite Motors 18 1/2 years, currently working for Jones Transfer co. Korean War Veteran of U. S. Navy, serving on USS Leary. Member Teamster Local 325 and Loyal Order of the Moose 1633. Survivors include his wife, Amelia, Rockford; three daughters, Patrice (Duane) Lovett, Seward, Roberta (Randy) Middleton, Belvidere, and Dorothy J. Yunek, Rockford; two grandsons and two grand daughters; two sisters, Marilyn (Mel) Summers, Newberry Park, Calif., and Carolyn (Howard) Manley, Boise, Idaho; two brothers, William, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Kenneth, Sycamore; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents. Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, in Sundberg Funeral Home LTD., 215 N. 6th St. with the Rev. Dr. Dale Hallberg, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
