Beaver City Times-Tribune, Beaver City, Nebraska, November 27, 1969, Page 1, Col. 1: Final Rites For Mrs. Frank Clason. Margaret May Leonard, daughter of henry and Julie Rose Leonard, passed away at the hospital in alma on Nov, 20, 1969. She lived 81 years, 11 months and 23 days. She was born Nov. 27, 1887 in Furnas County, where she lived her entire life, except 14 months at Atwood, Kansas.

She was united in married to Frank Clason on may 30, 1905. To this union was born two sons and five daughters, Mildred, Alice and Ethel, and one son Gerald, preceded her in death while still infants. One son, Lawrence, preceded her in 1958. She was also preceded by her parents.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Frank; son Francis of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two daughters, Irene Davis of Alma and Margaret Perkins of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three sisters, Cloyce of Axtell, Florence Dierker of Beaver City, and Edna Hopkins of Calistoga, Calif.; three brothers, Harry and Russell of Beaver City, and John of San Pablo, Calif.; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren;one great great grandson, nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, being baptized on November 18, 1936. Funeral services were conducted from the First Christian Church on Nov. 24, with the Rev. Harry Smith officiating. Music was by Mrs. C. E. rogers and Mrs. G. W. Shafer, organist was G. W. Shafer. Casket bearers were Oris Cozad, Don Woodruff, Dale Fults, Harley Lambert, Lawrence Lambert, and Lawrence Bowyer. Interment was in the Maple Creek Cemetery with arrangements by the Hopping-Haase Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebr.
