Francis "Frank" Alfred Clason

Harlan County Journal, Alma, Nebraska, March 12, 1987, Page 8, Col. 2: Frank Alfred Clason was born January 22, 1886 to Jay S. Clason and Ida Bell Davison Clason. He was born in Furnas County, Nebraska where he lived his entire life except 14 months on a homestead at Atwood, Kansas.
He was united in marriage with Margaret May Leonard on May 30, 1905. To this union was born three sons and five daughters. Frank was a member of the Assembly of God Church, being baptized November 18, 1936.
After the passing of his wife November 20, 1969, he moved to Alma, Nebraska where he made his home with his daughter, Irene Davis for 22 years. On October 1st 1980, he moved to th Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Center in alma where he spent the rest of his life. Frank died March 3, 1987 at the age of 101 years, one month and nine days.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three daughters, Mildred, Alice and Ethel, and one son, Gerald, while still infants; his wife, Margaret May; one son, Lawrence; brother Chriss Clason; and a sister Carrie Deeter.
He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Francis J. Clason and wife Ethale of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two daughters,, Margaret Perkins and husband Sylvester of Mountain View, Calif.; and Irene Davis of Alma, Neb.; one sister, Cecile Cass of Beaver City.
