Kearney Hub, Kearney, Nebraska, Saturday, June 13, 2009: BEAVER CITY - Evelyn M. Keezer, 88, of Beaver City died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Beaver City Manor. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Brethren Church in Beaver City with the Revs. Dwain Fowler and Jean Keezer-Clayton officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City and before services Tuesday at the church. She was born March 7, 1921, at Beaver City to Christopher and Ethel (Turner) Clason. On July 25, 1944, she married Jess Keezer in Beaver City. He died March 9, 1999. Survivors include her sons, Ray of Grand Island and Randy of Spokane, Wash.; daughters, Connie Leonard of Beaver City and Lola Yoder of Warsaw, Ind.; sister, Doris Marquis of Holdrege; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
