Clason, passed away yesterday afternoon at her home, 11729 Holmes avenue, Mira Loma, Following a short illness. She was 78. She was born Dec. 2, 1877, in Iowa. On April 26, 1896, in Beaver City, Neb., she married Rufus Clason, who survives her. The Clason moved from New Mexico to Mira Loma in 1936. Mrs. Clason was a member of the Missionary Baptist church in Patterson, N.M. In addition to her widower, Mrs. Clason is survived by four sons, Harry, of El Cajon; Marion of Westminster; Orville of Mira Loma and Horace of Riverside; three daughters, Mrs. Adeline Webb of Hollister; Mrs. Hettie Good of Mira Loma; Mrs. Kittie Webb of Modesto; two brothers, James W. Locke of Calgary, Canada, and Jesse T. Locke of Opportunity, Washington; a sister, Mrs. Jennie M. Hart of Sumner, Wash.; 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Bell-Thomas Mortuary chapel, with Mrs. Edna Bentley, pastor of the Mira Loma Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyslope cemetery. Friends may all at the Bell-Thomas Mortuary chapel after 4 p.m. tomorrow.
