Clason, age 82, of Richland Center died Thursday, February 23, 1984, at the Pine Valley Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Crawford County on May 9, 1901 to Chester and Flora Rayner Clason. On October 10, 1925 he married the former Madaline Bailey. Mrs. Clason was a retired cheesemaker from the Wisconsin Dairy. Survivors include his wife Madaline Clason of Richland Center; three daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Gilbert) Cockroft of Richland Center, Kay (Mrs. Merlin) Dosch of rural Viola and Gyneth Clason of Madison; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers, Clarence of Sioux City, Iowa, Herman of Eastman, WI., Louis of Footville, Rollo of Moline, Illinois, Otto of North Clayton, WI.; two sisters, Dora Bailey of Richland Center and Elnora Canfield of Beloit, WI. He was preceded in the by one daughter, Meriel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 1984, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Pastors Ted Sieck and Larry Girdwood co-officiating. Burial will be in the Sylvan Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pratt Chapel on Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or on Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
